Mystical Union · Medicinal Amber & Bodhi Lotus Dual-Circle Bracelet

Origin · The Radiance of the Medicine Buddha
During the Zhenguan era of the Tang Dynasty, a golden spring surged unexpectedly from the ground in the Imperial Medical Academy’s library, carrying ancient medicinal amber that preserved lost prescriptions from the *Shennong Herbal Classic*. At the same time, the Bodhi tree atop Wutai Mountain miraculously bloomed with seven-colored lotuses. Monks collected the lotus seeds and carved them into beads, while a wandering Taoist wove them with golden threads into a dual-circle bracelet, forming the "Netherworld Lotus Throne" configuration.

Mystery · Dual Energy Cultivation
The medicinal amber possesses the power to "absorb impurities and transform spiritual energy." When the wearer encounters sickness, misty amber inclusions appear within the beads. The Bodhi lotus bead, on the other hand, holds the ability to "shatter obstacles and awaken wisdom." Meditators have observed its petals rhythmically opening and closing at the hour of Zi (midnight). During an epidemic in Chang’an, a healer wearing the bracelet noticed golden veins gradually emerging in the amber, through which he deciphered an antidote formula.

Essence · Harmony of Yin and Yang
The medicinal amber carries the essence of the moon (purifying negativity), while the Bodhi lotus embodies the virtue of the sun (enlightening wisdom). The dual-circle structure symbolizes the "cycle of rebirth." During the winter and summer solstices, the two beads exhibit contrasting temperatures: the amber grows warm to the touch, while the lotus becomes refreshingly cool, mirroring the *Book of Changes* concept of "Heaven and Earth in Harmonious Union."

Bond · The Elixir of Nine Refinements
As recorded in the *Thousand Golden Prescriptions*, the amber must be steamed and tempered with eighty-one medicinal brews, while the Bodhi lotus bead requires blessings through monks’ daily sutra recitations. When worn, the amber should rest on the Shenmen acupoint of the wrist, and the lotus bead should align with the Hegu acupoint near the thumb. Avoid wearing it with rhinoceros horn or coral to prevent energetic conflict.

“Dark amber absorbs the depths of the netherworld,
Green lotus illuminates the vast universe.”
— May this bracelet guide you through the mysteries of life and death, and help you attain a purified spiritual form.
